Mary Cloak has dedicated the majority of her professional career to IDA Ireland and Enterprise Ireland (EI), where she played a pivotal role in guiding companies in shaping their Digital Strategies.
With a background in IT, Mary commenced her career with IDA Ireland as an Analyst/Programmer. Subsequently, she transitioned to EI, where she worked with EU programmes focused on facilitating companies in adopting cutting-edge internet technologies. Over a span of 10 years, Mary served as the Online Marketing Manager for EI, demonstrating her expertise in the digital realm. Later, she assumed the role of Senior Executive in the Digital Marketing Unit.
Recently, Mary established and led the Online Retail Scheme which has provided support to more than 850 retailers, with grant aid exceeding €30 million since 2018. As the Programme Manager, she spearheaded efforts to support Irish retailers in enhancing their online presence, thereby fostering competitiveness, expanding customer bases, and fortifying businesses both in the domestic and global marketplace, encompassing both online and offline channels.
