Payal Pandya

Payal Pandya is a dynamic Business Analyst and Project Manager at Dublin City Council within the Smart Cities Team. At the forefront of innovation, Payal leads initiatives such as the EU-funded H2020 Senator Project, Smart Ring Buoys Project, and Gully Monitoring Project. She is also leading two pioneering last-mile delivery projects, both recognized among the 35 exemplar projects nationwide for the Pathfinder Initiative by the Department of Transport. This initiative plays a pivotal role in steering Ireland towards its ambitious goal of achieving a 50% reduction in emissions by 2030.

A proactive contributor to strategic planning, Payal actively participates in Steering Sub Groups, collaborated with National and Local agencies to shape the National Demand Management Strategy. Her multifaceted role involves aligning technology with human needs, reflecting her commitment to creating innovative solutions that enhance urban living.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering and a Masters in Management from UCD Smurfit Business School, Payal brings a unique blend of technical acumen and strategic vision to her role.
